Species: Anything that would take a hook
Devices: Rod and Reel
Depth: 15 to 25 Feet
Baits: Shad
Qty_Caught: 5 to 10
Additional_comments: Fished with Lake Lavon Guide Service, on proabably
the worst day of the month to book a trip (just my luck). Was greeted at
the baot ramp with steady 15 mph winds, gusting to 20+. Not only constant,
but shifting from S to SW, back S and then back SW. This combined with a
mild front that came through earlier in the week, shut the bite down on
the open water. Drifted fresh, whole shad over main lake points at depths
from 25' through 6'. Bite was timid, like I've never seen before. Would
mouth the bait once, briefly, and then be gone. Still came home with more
fish than the last time I had been fishing :-)

soft, one tug and they were gone. Had to fish slack line, to give time,
to see the bite. Fish would carry the bait all over, but first sign of resistance
and they would drop it. Fished tied to trees casting up to the willows.
Could only fish two poles. Frequently had fish on both poles at the same
